Bikepacking can be so much more than downloading a GPX file. There is so much riding potential in our backyards in South-East QLD. Jimna, and its surrounding area, has been selected to give riders a huge canvas in which to create a truly memorable experience. The meeting point is just far enough away from normality to give the potential to explore, without having to book flights or time off work.

Riders may choose to use this as a social weekend, an opportunity to test out some gear, or perhaps extend their limits. It could be all of those things. Some may even use this as a steppingstone to tackling some bikepack race events.

Plan to meet up with some like-minded bikepackers, at the designated venue and time. Pitch your tent, cook a meal, and share your experiences around the campfire. Continue on your journey the following day.

Make your ride short, long, fast or just a cruise. Make it whatever you want it to be, but above all, make your ride awesome.
