VENUE & HOST

Jimna is immersed in the Australian bush; with nearby gorges, ravines, creeks, and waterfalls – some wild and spectacular places to see. This location has been selected due to its proximity to nearby riding potential, and access from many SE QLD towns. The township itself is approximately 40 km north of Kilcoy (by road). Kilcoy is the nearest township were services such as petrol, groceries, cafes etc are located.

Jimna Base Camp has been chosen as our venue as it's ideal for self-contained “Do It Yourself” group bookings such as our Escape. The 2.5Ha site was formally the Jimna State School and boasts spacious flat grassed camping area, toilets, showers, firepits and clean drinking water.

Our host, Pete, is a passionate outdoorsman and a wealth of knowledge on the surrounding area. Upon arrival at Jimna Base Camp, you can usually find him near the Caffeine Injection van, where you'll be able to pay camping fees, buy a coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, and other basic snacks.

There is no need to contact Pete directly prior to Jimna Escape, we will collate participant numbers prior to the weekend.

However, you can find more information on their website or follow their Facebook page for updates via the links below.
